Executive Director of NWMMB
Lesley Mondeaux, RNC, IBCLC serves as the Executive Director of NWMMB. Lesley has 29 years of nursing experience, working as a Lactation Consultant and staff nurse in areas focusing on maternal and child health. A graduate of Linfield College School of Nursing; Lesley has worked with many new families to welcome their babies into the world and help establish breastfeeding support. Serving as one of the nine founding board members for Northwest Mothers Milk Bank she was able to assist in identifying need and creating a vision for a milk bank to serve our community. Lesley believes that NWMMB, is an integral part of the healthcare landscape; creating better health outcomes for infants and children as they grow and thrive.
In 2010, Providence Health System awarded Lesley the Spirit of Emilie Gamelin Award which honors employees, physicians and staff who demonstrate the Providence mission and core values in an exemplary way. In 2011, Lesley was chosen as the March of Dimes Women’s Health Nurse of the Year.
Lesley, born and raised in Portland, has a strong love for all things Oregon and cannot imagine living anywhere but the Pacific Northwest. She lives with her husband and four children enjoying the outdoors, sporting events, friends and family.
