Milk To Go Plus
Congratulations on your new baby!
This program is designated for babies between 0 to 8 weeks of age with specific medical needs
that may require a little extra supplemental feeding. NWMMB triages need and is able to provide specified number of ounces of donor milk per baby under two months of age who are diagnosed with specific health complications. This program offers donor milk up to the maximum volume per infant.
Today's volume is up to 100 ounces.

Who is eligible for Milk to Go Plus?
Reasons for additional supplementation include, but are not limited to:

Prematurity (born at less than 35 weeks)

Recent NICU discharge

Small for Gestational Age (SGA), or slow growth (IUGR)

Significant weight loss (more than 10% at 4+ weeks old)

Temporary pause in breastfeeding due to medication

Supplementing with pasteurized donor milk when a baby has a medical need can allow time for breastfeeding to become established or an alternative feeding plan can be determined by you and your healthcare provider.
This Milk to Go Plus program offers the volume of milk per baby specified above and is available to infants between 0-8 weeks of age and meet the criteria listed above.
A prescription form and chart notes must be submitted by your baby’s healthcare provider.
The processing fee for donor milk is $5.00 per ounce. This fee covers all of the important steps to assure the donated milk is safe for your baby. A financial assistance program for families experiencing financial hardship is available in limited capacity. More information can be found here.
